Snowed in all day (when not shoveling)
Nellie's new obsession is Doctor Who
so this was today's project.
I'm not the best artist or poet
but my little girl was pleased.
There's a blue box in my backyard
I don't know how it got there.
Suddenly the door was ajar
"Don't worry the Doctor is here."
"Doctor Who?" I asked the strange man.
"Just the Doctor," was his reply.
"I'm here to save your world
from a really, really bad guy."
"The Master is his name,
he's as bad as a man can be.
He must be stopped and stopped at once.
Will you please help me?"
I couldn't believe my ears and eyes
but I knew what I had to do.
I grabbed my hat and coat and shoes
and said, "I'll go with you."
We found the Master in the seat of power.
The Doctor said, "We are just in time. "
"We are here to stop you, Master,
from committing this terrible crime."
All of the people around the world
had the same thought on their mind.
"We must help the Doctor,
Because he is so kind."
Six billion people all at once
Said, "Doctor" in one voice.
The Master gave up fighting,
he knew he had no choice.
The Doctor told me, "Thank You."
As he took me to my home.
"I have to leave your world now,
would you like to come along?"
Of course I will go along
Who could turn down such a request
to travel through space and time
as the Doctor's guest.
We stepped into the big blue box,
the Tardis is it's name.
I waved goodbye to the world,
the world form which I came.
Now I am on a great adventure,
who knows where I shall go,
What enemies we will vanquish,
Who will be our next foe?
I will travel with the Doctor
for a milliion years plus one,
through time and back again
through space and danger and fun.
